Job Description

We are looking for a Paralegal for a Global Law Firm based in Dubai.

 

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary – 21,000 AED/month

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be a UAE National (Emirati) as part of the company’s Emiratisation programme.
  • Law degree and/or LPC, or equivalent legal qualification, is advantageous.
  • Previous experience within a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support role is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Excellent organisational and workload management skills.
  • Ability to take responsibility for and independently manage assigned tasks and priorities.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to approach tasks efficiently and practically.
  • Strong analytical and lateral-thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with previous experience working as part of a professional team preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and demanding legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to fee earners across the Dubai office and, where required, other international offices.
  • Assist with the drafting, preparation, review, and organisation of legal and transactional documents.
  • Manage and track conditions precedent to ensure all required documentation and actions are completed within transaction timelines.
  • Support lawyers and fee earners throughout the transaction lifecycle, including preparation for and coordination of transaction completions.
  • Take responsibility for post-completion matters, ensuring required actions and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, lawyers, and internal stakeholders regarding transactional and legal matters.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised transaction files, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding actions and documentation, proactively following up with relevant stakeholders when required.
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider legal team to ensure efficient and high-quality support across matters.

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a legal team in Dubai. You will provide day-to-day legal and transactional support to fee earners, primarily in Dubai while also collaborating with colleagues across other offices. The role will involve drafting legal documents, managing conditions precedent, supporting transaction completion, and handling post-completion matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, takes ownership of their workload, and is comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment with exposure to a diverse range of transactional matters.
