Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Human Resources for a Furniture Solutions company based in Dubai.
Location – Dubai, UAE
Salary – 45,000 – 55,000 AED/month
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Professional HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or SPHR are preferred.
- Proven experience in HR strategy, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, HR compliance, and policy governance.
- Experience in compensation and benefits structuring, including market-aligned reward frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and retention strategies across multiple functions and levels.
- Strong capability in HR analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Odoo, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar systems.
- Background in manufacturing, retail, or multi-entity group structures is a strong advantage.
- Strong strategic leadership, with the ability to align people strategy to long-term business goals.
- Excellent influence and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across leadership and employee groups.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong problem-solving capability, with a practical and sustainable approach to HR challenges.
- Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality in handling employee and organizational matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Define and implement the Group HR strategy in alignment with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership on all people matters.
- Drive organisational change, culture building, and leadership capability across the business.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives across production, retail, and corporate functions.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent locally and internationally.
- Ensure effective onboarding and integration processes for all new hires.
Performance & Rewards Management
- Oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and development planning.
- Develop fair and competitive compensation and benefits structures aligned with market practices.
- Lead reward and recognition programs that reinforce high performance and core values.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and lead employee engagement and wellbeing programs that enhance motivation and retention.
- Drive initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and a positive work environment.
- Champion internal communications and feedback mechanisms across all levels of the organisation.
Learning & Development
- Build and implement structured L&D frameworks for capability development across functions.
- Identify leadership pipelines and succession plans for critical roles.
- Introduce mentorship, coaching, and development programs for high-potential employees.
HR Operations, Policies & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks are up to date and compliant with UAE labour law.
- Oversee payroll accuracy, HRIS systems, employee records, and statutory reporting.
- Lead internal audits, resolve employee grievances, and ensure fair and ethical workplace practices.
About the Role:
The Head of Human Resources will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of the organization's human capital agenda across all business units.
This role is responsible for aligning HR strategy with business goals while building a high-performance, values-driven, and scalable organization. The position oversees the full spectrum of HR, including talent management, workforce planning, performance, employee engagement, learning and development, HR operations, compliance, and organizational development.
The role is critical in supporting business growth and transformation by ensuring the organization has the right people, structures, leadership capability, and cultural foundations in place.
