Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Partner - Risk Advisory for a Global Consultancy Company based in Bahrain on a permanent basis.
Location – Bahrain
Salary – 5,000- 6,300 BD/month + benefits
Requirements:
- A recognized degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business or related disciplines plus
- A professional qualification e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, CPA and / or Masters
- CIA and / or CISA qualifications an advantage
- 18+ years work experience gained in a large audit and /or consulting firm, or a leading commercial organization of which a majority should be in risk consulting services with at least 8+ years in managerial position with Financial Services experience.
- Business development experience with proven achievement of targets
- Development of new services under the umbrella of risk consulting
- Ability to lead internal audits of financial service clients (banks and insurance companies) in the areas of investment, risk management, treasury and credit operations
- Ability to lead compliance advisory engagements
- Experience in establishing / implementing Enterprise Risk Management framework an advantage
- Forensics or Financial Risk Management experience a plus
- Experience in delivering Board level presentation
Key Role and Responsibilities:
- Drive the growth and expansion of the Risk Consulting (RC) business in Bahrain, with a particular focus on strengthening and developing Financial Services sector offerings.
- Lead and manage large-scale, complex consulting engagements, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance to clients and project teams.
- Champion innovation initiatives, contribute to practice development, and support the continuous growth and enhancement of service offerings.
- Oversee and mentor a team of 10–15 professionals, ensuring high performance, professional development, and successful project delivery across multiple engagements.
- Review and quality-assure client files, reports, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellence in service delivery.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Support business development activities, including client targeting, relationship building, opportunity identification, and sales presentations.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and engagement documentation to secure new business opportunities.
- Design, develop, and implement internal training programs to enhance team capabilities and technical expertise.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interviewing, and talent selection to support business growth.

As an Associate Partner, you will provide technical leadership across a broad range of risk advisory services, including internal audit, compliance advisory, enterprise risk management, and financial risk consulting. You will oversee multiple client engagements, mentor and develop high-performing teams, and contribute to the continued innovation and expansion of the practice. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes while supporting the firm's long-term strategic objectives across Bahrain and the wider region.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded risk professional with extensive experience within Financial Services, particularly across banking and insurance sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the growth of the Risk Consulting business, developing new service offerings, strengthening client relationships, and leading complex advisory engagements. This position requires a strong track record in business development, practice growth, and delivering strategic solutions to senior stakeholders and board-level executives.
