Job Description
We are looking for an CBU Project Manager (Saudi National) for a Global Construction Consulting Firm based in Riyadh.
Location – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Salary – 55,000 SAR/month
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects.
- Proven experience in construction management roles on major projects, ideally within government or semi-government environments.
- Strong technical expertise across:
- Site engineering
- Project controls
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Contracts management
- Quality assurance
- Extensive experience in water and wastewater construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with government entities and utility providers.
- Track record of implementing continuous improvement and developing talent within construction teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- International project experience preferred, with KSA experience highly desirable.
- Western education background and prior experience working within Western markets or international project environments is strongly preferred for this E1-level role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of CBU projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and execution strategies.
- Manage and mentor project teams, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and professional development.
- Oversee project budgets, resources, and schedules, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and progress, ensuring timely communication to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Implement and manage project systems including EDMS and PMIS, ensuring data accuracy and document control.
- Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project management processes and site operations.
- Promote a strong safety culture, including the implementation of a zero-accident philosophy.
About the Role:
We are seeking a CBU Project Manager who will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure and city development projects. Reporting to the Project Director, this role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical expertise, with a focus on driving operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across complex construction environments.
