Job Description

We are looking for a Project Engineer (Saudi National) for a Global Construction Consulting Firm based in Riyadh.

Location – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Salary – 24,000 – 26,000 SAR/month

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects
• Proven experience working on government or semi-government projects
• Strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects within budget and schedule constraints
• Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with government entities and utility providers
• Experience working in international or large-scale project environments
• Commitment to safety standards, including a zero-accident philosophy
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams across all project phases
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including design, construction, procurement, and operations
• Monitor engineering progress against project schedules, budgets, and performance targets
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, technical records, and change orders
• Support project management functions including site management, engineering, procurement, and construction coordination
• Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during project execution
• Monitor construction activities and provide technical input and support where required
• Prepare and manage engineering budgets, schedules, and project control plans
• Coordinate with regional and site teams on project status, risks, and performance updates
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting across all project phases
• Support continuous improvement in project delivery processes and engineering practices

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and city development projects in Saudi Arabia. This role will play a key part in coordinating engineering activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and in line with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will work closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to oversee technical execution, monitor progress, and resolve engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
