We are looking for a Private Nanny–Governess (Arabic & English) in Dubai.
Location – Dubai, UAE
Salary – 20,000 AED/month
Requirements:
- Native or dominant Arabic speaker, able to sustain full-day interaction in Arabic.
- Strong working proficiency in English for coordination and communication.
- Proven experience in high-standard private households, elite childcare, or educational settings.
- Emotionally intelligent, structured, reliable, and confident in assuming responsibility.
- Excellent professional references and willingness to complete background and identity checks.
- Early Years or Primary Education training (CACHE, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting bilingual or multilingual children.
- Paediatric First Aid certification and confident swimming ability.
- Experience travelling internationally with families.
- Familiarity with UAE schools, culture, and private household expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all daily routines using Arabic as the default language, including mornings, meals, transitions, and evenings.
- Actively develop spoken Arabic through conversation, play, storytelling, reading, and daily interaction.
- Support school readiness and learning, reinforcing Arabic alongside English where appropriate.
- Curate and supervise age-appropriate enrichment activities, including outdoor play, cultural exposure, sports, and structured learning.
- Manage the child’s full ecosystem, including scheduling, appointments, logistics, and transitions.
- Prepare for and accompany day trips, weekends, and family travel, maintaining routine and language continuity.
- Maintain the child’s personal environment, including wardrobe, laundry, learning materials, toys, and books.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, schools, and service providers.
- Uphold the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism (NDA required).
About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional, career-level Arabic & English Speaking Private Nanny–Governess to assume full responsibility for the daily care, development, and wellbeing of a child within a private household in Dubai. This is a long-term, leadership-focused role, not a traditional nanny or tutoring position. The role carries a clear language immersion mandate, with Arabic as the primary working language used consistently throughout the day. The successful candidate will provide structure, emotional security, intellectual stimulation, and cultural enrichment, while managing all child-related routines, logistics, and development with professionalism, discretion, and calm authority.
