Job Description
We are looking for a Director – Product Management for a leading Fintech platform in Dubai.
Location – Dubai, UAE
Salary – 50,000 AED/month + benefits
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or any other relevant field
- Master’s in Business Administration is desirable
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 5 years of progressive leadership responsibility in an organization of similar scope and size
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Leadership
- Define and drive the product vision and create a product roadmap, aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Set clear objectives, micro-goals, and actionable steps to achieve each goal.
- Partner with senior leadership to translate business strategies into actionable product initiatives.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather insights and refine product offerings.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Interface with clients to understand their requirements, processes, and key success factors.
- Maintain updated requirements traceability matrices and assess user stories for completeness.
- Participate in agile processes, including scrum meetings and product sprints, ensuring all objectives are met.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle from ideation to launch and post launch evaluation.
- Ensure that products are consistently meeting customer expectations and business objectives.
- Manage product backlog priorities, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals across teams.
- Develop, implement, and monitor production timelines to ensure timely delivery of products
Collaboration Management
- Gain a deep understanding of client’s businesses and align internal and external stakeholders to meet their requirements.
- Plan and execute client service requests, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison for client communication, conflict resolution, and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality delivery that aligns with customer expectations.
- Participate in review meetings to assess current performance, gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, emerging technologies, and business opportunities.
- Explore ways to enhance the product and guide new initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Analyse customer feedback, market demands, and competitor offerings to identify new product opportunities and improvements.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage the team, maximising job satisfaction, monitoring performance and addressing learning and development requirements.
- Sets individual objectives, recruit qualified staff, provide formal and informal feedback / appraisal to maximise team performance.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture within the team.
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Oversee and ensure appropriate governance and risk management processes are effectively operated throughout the organization
- Understand and embrace the corporate information security framework and perform his / her duties according to the policy, procedures, standards, and guidelines and ensure team members follow the standards and procedures
MIS and Reports
- Prepares timely and accurate MIS statements and reports like resource utilization, Progress Reports
Quality Management and Continuous Improvement
- Ensures compliance to all relevant quality management procedures and controls to guarantee compliance and delivery of high-quality products/service
- Stimulates and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
About the Role:
The Director – Product Management is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring that our product portfolio aligns with market needs and business goals. He/She will guide cross-functional teams and drive the creation of innovative solutions that meet customer expectations, enhance user experience, and position the company.
