Job Description
We are looking for a Public Sector Sales Lead for a Global Electronics company based in Dubai.
Location – Dubai, UAE
Salary – Depending on Experience
Qualifications & Experience:
- University Education (minimum Bachelor’s degree; can be across Business Administration; Engineering; Humanities; etc).
- Proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably in the mobile or technology sector
- Proven experience in B2G, public sector, or related fields
- Strong understanding of public sector dynamics and procurement processes
- Deep understanding of B2G trends, competitive landscape, and Government regulations
- Exposure to Electronics industry is desirable but not required
- At least 11+ years of experience in field of enterprise sales; at least 5 years of experience dealing with multiple public-sector entities in UAE (and/or Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar)
- Sales experience in the private sector with a major enterprise entity (e.g. Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Google)
- Demonstrated achieving revenue targets in complex markets across public sector
- Experience in developing and executing strategic sales initiative across public sector entities
- Known list of contacts (end customers, influencers, etc. ) who can help unlock opportunities across different public sector entities and ministries
- Private sector experience along with public sector experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a sales strategy to penetrate and expand in the public sector market. Define an approach plan to different sectors so as to rapidly expand support
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies and public institutions
- Large-Scale Project Acquisition: Lead sales efforts for major government/public sector projects.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with external parties at target accounts (from leadership to working level; technical leads) and internal teams to tailor mobile-enterprise solutions that address specific public sector challenge at hand
- Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the public sector to inform strategic decisions.
- Execution Impact: Own the execution on a specific sales opportunity by effectively managing aspects such a forecasting and securing product/solutions; ensuring internal logistical processes in place for timely execution; and ensuring financial capabilities of channel partners are done such that product can be implemented on time with the end customer
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure alignment with goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Team Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and develop existing sales account managers to achieve organizational objectives

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and communicate with all Enterprise-channel actors (from government and semi-public accounts; to system integrators; to distributors; to principal brands).

- Highly Proficiency with typical Microsoft Applications that enable effective communication
- Arabic Language fluency is preferred, especially given the nature of public sector leadership engagement required
About the Role:
We are seeking a Public Sector Sales Leader to lead and drive the growth of mobile-enterprise solutions within the public sector by developing strategic partnerships and delivering innovative solutions across different government ministries and public/semi-public entities. This role ensures alignment with internal business goals (i.e. internal revenue targets; exposure of different product/solution offerings) while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in the public sector.
