Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (Banking Technology Products) for a Digital Business Strategy company based in Dubai.
Location – Dubai, UAE
Salary – 35,000 AED/month + commission
Qualifications & Experience:
- 6–10 years of experience in selling banking or fintech software products, platforms, or SaaS solutions.
- Proven ability to close mid-to-large size deals with banks or financial institutions in one or more regions (e.g., MENA, South Asia, SEA).
- Strong understanding of banking operations and digital transformation journeys (e.g., banking digitization, payments modernization, credit lifecycle automation).
- Excellent communication, product pitching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience working with product-led organizations, fintechs, or banking tech providers.
- Proven experience in developing business strategies and building pricing models to drive growth and profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a small team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of specific banking domains such as:
- Core Banking Systems (CBS)
- Digital Lending / LOS / LMS
- Digital Onboarding & eKYC
- Omni-channel Banking
- Regulatory & Compliance tech (AML, Risk, Reporting)
- Familiarity with modern delivery models (Cloud, SaaS, APIs, Microservices).
- Exposure to enterprise sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
KPIs / Success Metrics:
- New ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) from banking clients
- Number of new logos acquired
- Pipeline generation and conversion ratio
- Client satisfaction and retention in early post-sale phases
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities within banks, NBFCs, and fintechs for our banking solution suite (e.g., digital onboarding, loan origination, KYC/AML, etc.).
- Understand customer needs and pain points, and align them with specific product capabilities to create compelling value propositions.
- Lead the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering product demos, managing RFPs, pricing discussions, and contract negotiation.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers including CIOs, Heads of Digital, Product Owners, and IT Procurement.
- Work closely with Product Management, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure solution-fit and smooth client handover.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments affecting banking products and platforms.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and digital forums.
