Job Description
We are looking for a Manager of Marketing and Events for a government affiliated entity based in the UAE.
Location – Sharjah, UAE
Salary – 27,000 AED/month + benefits
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Corporate Communication, Media, Business Administration or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership, including 5+ years in a head-of-function role.
- Proven track record in B2B/B2C integrated marketing, digital transformation, and brand building.
- Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in cultural or government institutions or the public sector is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Proven experience in leading digital campaigns and participating in regional/international events.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
Develop and maintain a three-year marketing roadmap aligned with corporate objectives, defining target audiences, brand positioning, messaging pillars, and multi-channel strategy.
Brand Management
Oversee brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including digital, print, events, and partnerships to protect and enhance the company’s brand reputation locally and internationally.
Campaign Planning & Execution
Lead the end-to-end planning, budgeting, and execution of major campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential media, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.
Digital & Performance Marketing
Direct the digital team in SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing), social media, email, and content marketing to maximize lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI. materials through various sources such as book reviews, catalogs, and recommendations.
Budget & Resource Optimization
Manage the annual marketing budget with discipline, ensuring high-performing vendor relationships, efficient media spend, and value-optimized resource allocation.
Team Development & Collaboration
Build and mentor a high-performing team; collaborate cross-functionally with programs, events, retail, sales, and external relations to align messaging and campaign delivery.
Event Strategy & Oversight
Oversee the planning and promotion of seasonal and special events including Winter/Summer Camps, Ramadaniyat, and exhibition activations.
Partnership Development
Identify and cultivate media, sponsorship, and creative partnerships that amplify program visibility and brand impact.

- Campaign ROI: 150% ROI on major campaigns within six months of launch.
