Job Description

We are looking for a Content Lead for a government affiliated entity based in the UAE.

 

Location – Sharjah, UAE

Salary – 10,000 - 14,000 AED/month + benefits

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in content creation, content strategy, or digital marketing roles.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end content processes, from ideation through to publishing and performance analysis.
  • Experience leading or coordinating teams of writers, editors, designers, or external agencies/ freelancers.
  • Strong background in creating content for various formats including blogs, social media, email marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Content Strategy Development

  • Define and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand positioning, audience needs, and business objectives.

 

Content Planning & Editorial Oversight

  • Own the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of content across platforms (website, blog, social media, email, video, etc.).

 

Content Creation & Optimization

  • Write, edit, and guide the production of compelling content that is clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, design, SEO, and communications teams to align content with broader campaigns and initiatives.

 

Team & Workflow Management

  • Manage internal content creators and external contributors (writers, designers, videographers, agencies).

 

Audience Development & Engagement

  • Understand target audiences and develop content strategies that inform, inspire, and convert.

 

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage content-related budgets, including freelance, tools, and production costs.

 

Thoughtleadership

  • Keep up with content marketing trends, new formats, and digital storytelling innovations.

About the Role:

 

We are seeking a Content Lead to lead the development and execution of a strategic content roadmap that drives brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth. The Content Lead is responsible for overseeing the planning, creation, and distribution of high-quality content across digital and offline channels, ensuring consistency in voice, messaging, and alignment.
