Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Executive – Query Processing for a Fintech company which is a subsidiary of a leading global bank.
Location – Dubai
Salary – Depending on Experience
Length – Six-month fixed term contract (scope to extend)
Working hours/days – 8 hours, 5 days a week (Saturday will be working, 1 weekday will be off)
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Accounting or Business
- Minimum 2 to 4 year’s experience in the retail financial services industry
- Candidates should have experience in a Bank (outsourced resource), Fintech or Exchange with WPS+CBFTs related experience.
- Able to work with tools like Confluence, Jira and other Project tools
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines and time pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Understanding of Payments processing (cross border payments and domestic payments)
- Able to handle communication (written and verbal) with Correspondent/Partner Banks and Service Providers.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliation of transactions processed through myZoi Channels as per procedures and DOI / Reconciliation Policy and report any open issues from reconciliation to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage transaction queries (all types of transactions) and follow up on query resolutions as per internal process.
- Escalated unresolved queries to Line Manager through a periodic reporting process.
- Prepare and submit daily MIS and reports to Line Manager
- Ensure all communication is responded completely, comprehensively and immediately. In cases where response cannot be prepared immediately, suitable holding response is forwarded with reasonable timelines for completion.
- Participate in team meetings and ensure implementation of agreed action points.
- Attend nominated classroom trainings and complete e-learnings on time.
- Participate in the implementation of key projects and perform a lead role in functional /operational aspects of the Projects.
