Job Description
We are looking for a HR Manager for an On-demand app based in Dubai.
Location – Dubai, UAE
Salary – 20,000 – 30,000 AED/month
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 6–8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a tech startup or high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to set up and run HR processes from scratch—no task is too big or too small.
- Deep understanding of startup dynamics — you know how to be scrappy and strategic.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; you're a trusted partner across all levels.
- Agile, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong interpersonal skills—you know how to build trust and rapport at all levels.
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance in the UAE would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Own end-to-end hiring processes across departments—sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
- People Operations
- Set up, streamline, and manage HR systems, tools, and processes—contracts, payroll coordination, benefits, compliance, and record-keeping.
- Performance & Development
- Implement performance review systems, feedback mechanisms, and L&D initiatives that scale with our growth.
- Culture & Engagement
- Champion a healthy, transparent, and inclusive company culture. Lead teambuilding activities, pulse surveys, and internal comms.
- Strategic HR
- Act as a trusted advisor to founders and managers on org design, headcount planning, and team structure as we scale.
- Generalist Firefighter
- Be ready to jump into any people-related challenge—whether it’s onboarding 5 new hires in a week or mediating a team conflict.
About the role:
We’re looking for a full-stack HR Manager to take charge the people operations. This is a 360° role—you’ll be involved in everything from hiring and onboarding to policymaking, employee engagement, culture-building, and strategic planning.
