We are looking for a Chef De Cuisine – Turkish Cuisine for a Luxury Hospitality company based in Kuwait.
Location – Kuwait
Salary – 800- 900 KD/month + benefits
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as Chef De Cuisine in Turkish specialty restaurants.
- An instinctive eye for details and very keen passion for Ottoman cuisine.
- An inspirational and engaging leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relentless and infectious passion for foods and restaurant trends.
- A sound pre-opening experience in large hotel operations would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation in line with Ottoman and Turkish culinary traditions.
- Develop and execute innovative Turkish menus, ensuring consistency and creativity in every dish.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to uphold the restaurant’s standards of excellence and foster a positive, efficient work environment.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed, adhering to all health regulations and restaurant guidelines.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and refine operational strategies, improving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Monitor kitchen costs and assist in budgeting, ensuring cost control without compromising quality.
- Maintain high-level guest satisfaction by managing special requests, food allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- Drive the culinary team’s performance by implementing training programs and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the restaurant’s branding by staying updated on current food trends and incorporating relevant influences into the menu.
