Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media Manager for a marketing company based in Dubai.

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary 6,000 – 8,000 AED/month

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of social media management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
  • Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as SocialBakers, Sprout Social, Hootsuite or HubSpot
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and/or any other editing applications is a plus
  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and customers
  • Strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A proven ability to work quickly, efficiently and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent team work and networking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with the clients’ business goals
  • Create social content supporting the junior team
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Source imagery from brands and/or brief in requests for the creation of additional assets required to align with the content strategy
  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others • Monitor comments and communication with the community, ensuring the correct departments are made aware and assisting in queries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain, schedule and managing all portfolio social calendars with brand marketing assets and delivery analysis for format series during most engaged audience time/day
  • Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face (agency roles)
