We are looking for a Strategic Business Planning & Analysis Manager for a Financial Services Start-Up based in Dubai

Location – Dubai

Salary – 25,000 - 30,000 AED/month

Length – Six-month fixed term contract (scope to extend)

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in financial services, with a preference for experience in digitalisation and regulated fintech industry 
  • Proven experience in business planning, strategic planning, and business analysis. 
  • Financial acumen and understanding of financial metrics and impact on business performance. 
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation. 
  • Able to work collaboratively and dynamically with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence and reporting tools. 
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment. 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Business Planning: 
    • Assist the CEO in developing and implementing business plans. 
    • Align departmental goals and objectives with overall business plans. 
    • Partnering with the CFO and Leadership Team to create and maintain clear KPI metrics and oversee their performance. 
    • Work closely with Finance on financial planning and cost monitoring to ensure alignment with business plan and operating budgets. 
    • Ensure compliance with corporate budgeting requirements and guidelines. 
  • Committee Planning and Documentation: 
    • Prepare committee documents and management information reports. 
    • Create board and committee papers. 
    • Take minutes and track actions from management meetings and business review meetings. 
    • Assess committee effectiveness and recommend improvements. 
    • Ensure corporate governance practices are implemented and adhered to. 
  • Investor and Stakeholder Relations: 
    • Conduct market and industry analysis for continuous alignment with our strategic plan 
    • Create all decks and presentations for all strategic interactions with key stakeholders 
    • Create speaking notes for key stakeholder meetings and presentations. 
  • Strategic Planning: 
    • Assist with strategic planning and ensure alignment of key initiatives with the company's strategy. 
    • Lead the creation of the three to five-year plan with input from the leadership team. 
    • Develop the operating plan and ensure alignment with key business initiatives.
  • Management Information and Reporting: 
    • Design and implement management information dashboards. 
    • Create comprehensive management information and reporting systems. 
  • Technology Integration: 
    • Leverage technology to enhance business analysis and strategic planning processes. 
    • Implement and manage business intelligence tools and systems. 
  • Process Improvement: 
    • Continuously evaluate and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 
    • Implement best practices in business analysis and strategic planning. 
  • Performance Monitoring: 
    • Monitor and report on the performance of strategic initiatives and business plans. 
    • Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.  
  • Stakeholder Engagement: 
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors industry peers, and strategic partners. 
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments. 
  • Training and Development: 
    • Provide training and support to team members on business analysis tools and techniques. 
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.  

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support our CEO in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the alignment of departmental goals with our business objectives. This role is critical in facilitating business planning, committee planning, action tracking, and the creation of investor decks and presentations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, strategic planning, and management reporting.
