We are looking for a Head of Purple Sales for an Automotive company based in Dubai.

 

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary 40,000 AED/month + benefits

 

Qualifications:

  • Min. of 10+ year’s professional experience in a similar role including 7 years as the head of the function or in a similar position
  • Proven track record of achieving automotive sales targets and managing a sales team.
  • Minimum Master’s degree in related field.
  • Preferably Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar degree
  • Excellent understanding of the automotive industry, CPO vehicle programs, and customer preferences in the used car market.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and a track record of improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to develop effective strategies.
  • Must have managed larger teams of 10+ in the past 
  • Experience building processes and implementing 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems and sales software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Must have valid UAE driving license

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share. 
  • Train, coach and motivate a sales team to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and improve sales performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective sales processes and systems to ensure high-quality sales service delivery.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and customer data using CRM systems.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Formulate and manage an annual operating forecast & budget for the used-vehicle sales department.
  • Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing.
  • Guide sales personnel in establishing aggressive yet realistic monthly objectives and provide the support to meet these objectives and in closing sales if required.
  • Ensure proper follow-up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a follow-up mechanism for used-vehicle clients.
  • Observe client preferences and conducts market analyses to determine vehicle stocks.
  • Process team commission and monitor the payroll records for department.
  • Oversee the efforts of used-vehicle salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.
  • Communicate daily with the stakeholders regarding units needed for used-vehicle inventory and maintain vehicle inventory. 
  • Ensure that used-vehicle salespeople are informed of all new inventory and current advertising efforts, including special sales.
  • Enforce a pre-determined day turn policy.
  • Appraise all incoming used vehicles.
  • Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership's cost and time limitations.
  • Plan and control the display of used vehicles and establish wholesale activities.
  • Establish delivery procedures and ensures that delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment.
  • Assist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.
  • Approve all paperwork from auctions and provides proper documentation to the office for purchases.
  • Track results of auction purchases and compares gross profits of auction vehicles with those of tradeins.
  • Develop and maintain outside sources for both buying and selling units.
  • Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
  • Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.

About the Role:

The Head of Purple Sales is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the sales operations and achieving sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This job develops forecasts and strategies to achieve sales at price levels to ensure profitability, while actively seeking out and forming good relationships with major customers, key influencers, and buyers.
