Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Engineer for a gaming company based in Jordan.

Location – Remote until relocate to Jordan

Salary – Depending on Experience

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
• Strong technical skills in a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and architectures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Experience with mobile development.
• Experience with data engineering and analytics.
• This position will require relocation to Jordan within 6 months of joining the company and will be working remote until you are able to relocate

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain technical standards and best practices across the company.
• Help design, review, and implement technical solutions for new products and features.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, including providing technical guidance and coaching.
• Work on the most challenging problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with other teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure successful product development.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced full-time Principal Engineer to work on providing technical leadership and driving the company's technical vision. This includes establishing technical standards, developing, and implementing technical solutions, and mentoring and guiding other engineers.
