Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Product Officer for a holdings company based in Dubai.

 

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary – 100,000 – 120,000 AED/month

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
  • 15-20 years’ experience with at least 5 years in a C-suite role within the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategy, Policies and Procedures

  • Lead the development and implementation of product vision and strategies which are closely aligned with the company’s strategic objectives emphasizing revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Shape and transform the strategy of Innovation Studio products using market research, identifying high-demand product segments and commercial needs.
  • Establish strategic partnerships and identify M&A opportunities to enable revenue growth.
  • Drive the unit’s strategic direction by making critical and strategic financial decisions that align with long-term the company’s objectives.
  • Drive the development and prioritization of a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with market demands, customer expectations and sales objectives.
  • Define an optimised structure of Innovation Studio and direct the development of departmental structures.
  • Formulate policies, processes, and standard procedures for Product development so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

 

 

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product performance, customer satisfaction and market success.
  • Deal with sensitive and confidential information related to work with discretion to protect the interests of the company..

Business Development

  • Utilize data-driven insights to guide product development and potential new revenue streams.
  • Lead and define innovative opportunities to elevate the client experience across Innovation Studio initiatives and continually monitor customer satisfaction scorecards.
  • Champion innovation by keeping abreast of technological trends and industry best practices.
  • Advocate for the customer by ensuring that products meet their needs and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders to drive market expansion and unlock high-value growth opportunities.

Products Development

  • Lead the implementation of product roadmap (Wasla, IDEP, WAYN, FODEL) that outlines the development and release of new features and products.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring the product meets customer expectations and provides long-term value.
  • Drive innovation and scalability to meet evolving business needs, enhancing operational efficiency and delivering impactful results.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Sales & Marketing

  • Establish and achieve revenue targets by ensuring product-market fit and collaborating on sales training and materials.
  • Define and execute plans for product positioning, pricing, and distribution to ensure maximum market penetration and sales growth.
  • Oversee the sales & Marketing strategies for new product launches, ensuring successful execution in close collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

Financial Leadership

  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning and resource allocation to ensure that all departments are aligned with the company’s financial goals and strategic priorities.
  • Optimize resource utilization by monitoring both manpower and financial resources, ensuring high standards of quality and operational efficiency.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Ensure product offerings comply with industry regulations and standards, addressing any relevant legal, security or ethical considerations.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to proactively identify and mitigate technology-related risks.

Synergy with Stakeholders

  • Cultivate and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with shareholders, clients, partners, and employees, ensuring open lines of communication and fostering trust and engagement at all levels.
  • Lead periodic and steering committee meetings with stakeholders to ensure that Innovation Studio initiatives align with the company’s objectives.

Reporting

  • Ensure that all relevant reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner to keep the top management updated of performance against targets.
  • Analyze sales, market trends and customer feedback to advocate product and go-to-market strategies as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team and other stakeholders on product, sales and marketing performance.
  • Provide strategic insights to stakeholders on products strategies, roadmaps, revenue and key performance metrics.

Talent Management

  • Lead and mentor the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of functional systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’ with proactive action plans.
  • Ensure a high standard of employee motivation through regular employee communication, training and equipping with the best tools to achieve the maximum results.
  • Identify potential talent pool of successors and comply with succession planning framework and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to meeting Emiratization Target.

About the Role:

Lead, direct, and shape the digital product vision, strategy and roadmap for the company’s Group by serving as the face of the Innovation Studio, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals, driving innovation, customer satisfaction, healthy financial results, motivated workforce and delivering results that meet and exceed shareholder expectations.
