We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a global Construction Consulting Firm based in Saudi Arabia.

Location – Madinah/Qassim, KSA

Salary – DOE

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on mega development projects (e.g. infrastructure projects, large residential or commercial or mixed-use developments, water/wastewater projects).
  • In-depth knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and FIDIC.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Well-versed in project management tools and software including MS Office applications.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (MRICS or equivalent preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for large-scale development projects.
  • Reviews Change Requests, Contract Trend Notices, Variation Orders, Claims, etc.
  • Oversee the preparation of payment schedules and progress reports.
  • Ensure accurate valuation and certification of work completed by contractors.
  • Conduct cost control and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide advice on contractual and commercial matters, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and any potential cost overruns.
  • Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within the company, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
