Location – Riyadh

Salary – 15,000 SAR/ month

Requirements:

• A candidate who is a good fit will love the opportunity to be involved in a company early in its set up and expansion, as well as cutting-edge legal issues and working closely with a team.
• 2+ years of experience in intellectual property, technology, marketing/advertising, promotions, or entertainment law, in-house or at a law firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Paralegal experience.
• Any interest or experience in media would be preferred
• Ability to assess priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for video games is not required, but nice to have.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with business clients by partnering with internal stakeholders to provide legal support across the business.
• Review video game assets and marketing materials for release, including by conducting intellectual property clearance and reviewing for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company standards and game rating requirements.
• Manage the company’s trademark portfolio.
• Manage ongoing company annual regulatory filings.
• Negotiate and draft certain company standard agreements, including NDAs and Services Agreements.
• Assist the business in execution of promotions, including reviewing promotion creative assets for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research for other members of the legal team. 
• Build and maintain a solid understanding of the video game industry, company portfolio of products, and relevant laws by keeping up with industry news and attending legal conferences.

About the Role:

We are looking for a paralegal to support the legal team, assisting with all legal matters handled by the legal department but with a focus on video game publishing and development, marketing, IP, and corporate legal issues.
