Requirements:

• 2-3 years experience in a legal advisory position
• Experience within the Shipping/Maritime/Oil & Gas industry
• English qualification in law is preferred but not mandatory
• UAE law experience is mandatory

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all legal matters pertaining to oil and gas operations, with a focus on the shipping industry.
• Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of agreements, including joint venture agreements, supply contracts, and transportation agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance issues.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
• Manage external legal counsel and coordinate legal support for international projects and transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence for potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
• Stay abreast of UAE legal and regulatory developments in the oil and gas and shipping industries.
• Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure alignment and support for business objectives.
