Location – London

We are searching for an experienced Financial Controller to join a global powerhouse in the fintech space. Reporting to the CFO this role will see you leading multiple teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and keeping a laser focus on opportunities to streamline processes and maximize efficiencies.

This role will involve:

• Assuming primary responsibility for ensuring corporate compliance with external and internal accounting regulations and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.
• Providing strategic guidance on corporate transactions, such as acquisitions and investments, providing expert advice on financial regulations
• Providing expert advice on intricate financial matters and generating technical accounting documentation.
• Taking ownership of M&A due diligence processes from an accounting and control standpoint
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Advising management on compliance issues and pre-empting forthcoming legislation
• Leading multiple teams, fostering a seamless collaboration culture.

A bit about you:

• A Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant
• You hold a degree in Finance or Accounting
• You are an experienced Financial Controller
• You have experience working for an international organisation and are confident managing large teams spread across multiple locations.
• Ideally, you have some big 4 experience.
• You are familiar with IFRS and/or US GAAP principles.
• An influential leadership style with exceptional interpersonal skills
• You have a track record of improving processes and providing innovative solutions.
