We are looking for a Business Development Director for a Global Construction Consulting Firm based in UAE.

 

Location – Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary – Depending on Experience

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field. MBA or Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
  • 15+ years of business development leadership experience within the UAE infrastructure, transportation, or consultancy sectors.
  • Proven track record of securing major infrastructure and transportation projects across the UAE.
  • Established executive-level network across government, semi-government, and sovereign-linked entities.
  • Strong experience influencing procurement strategies and shaping early-stage business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-million-dollar pursuits within highly competitive environments.
  • Deep understanding of UAE procurement processes, infrastructure frameworks, and integrated consultancy models.
  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive strategic partnerships.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams and high-impact business initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong market awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth roadmap aligned with UAE national development initiatives and infrastructure investment priorities.
  • Identify and secure high-value business opportunities across transport authorities, municipalities, sovereign-backed developers, and large-scale development programs.
  • Drive early-stage client engagement to influence procurement strategies and project scope development.
  • Expand the company’s footprint within strategic frameworks, infrastructure programs, and long-term development projects.
  • Deliver measurable revenue growth and market share expansion across the UAE infrastructure and transportation sectors.

Executive Client Leadership

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, government entities, and strategic clients.
  • Lead strategic account management initiatives for priority clients and target organizations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, executive meetings, and high-level negotiations.
  • Position innovative, value-driven consultancy solutions aligned with client transformation and growth agendas.
  • Enhance brand visibility and establish the organization as a trusted strategic advisor within the market.

Capture & Competitive Strategy

  • Lead the full capture management lifecycle for major pursuits and strategic opportunities.
  • Develop data-driven win strategies to strengthen competitive positioning and maximize success rates.
  • Conduct market and competitor intelligence assessments to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Structure strategic alliances, joint ventures, and partnership models to enhance market competitiveness.
  • Oversee proposal governance, pricing strategies, executive messaging, and final bid submissions for high-value projects.
