Job Description

We are looking for a Project Coordinator for a Government Affiliated Entity based in the UAE.

 

Location – Sharjah, UAE

Salary 12,000 AED/month

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 7–10 years’ experience in project coordination or assistant project management within real estate or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of the UAE construction industry, including authority processes (Sharjah experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to follow-up and issue resolution

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project documentation, communications, and schedules across all project phases
  • Track progress of design, procurement, and construction deliverables, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding actions
  • Support the Project Manager with preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and project updates
  • Act as a key liaison between internal departments, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
  • Monitor submittals, approvals, RFIs, and tender processes, maintaining accurate logs and timelines
  • Assist with project inspections, snagging, handover documentation, and close-out activities
  • Follow up on defects liability period (DLP) issues, ensuring timely rectification and closure with contractors and FM teams
  • Ensure all project documentation complies with internal standards and authority requirements throughout the project lifecycle

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a Project Coordinator who will support the Project Manager in delivering real estate development projects across all phases, from design through to handover and close-out. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination, accurate documentation, and effective communication between internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. This position plays a critical role in maintaining project timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements, contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
