Job Description

We are looking for an Interior Design Coordinator for a Government Affiliated Entity based in the UAE.

Location – Sharjah, UAE

Salary – 12,000 AED/month

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a recognised university
• 3–5+ years’ experience in interior design coordination, preferably within real estate, hospitality, retail, or public sector projects
• Strong knowledge of design processes, materials, furniture suppliers, and market trends
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), and rendering tools such as SketchUp or Rhino
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a high level of attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of completed interior design projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate interior design activities across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones
• Collaborate closely with Project Management, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure design integration and alignment
• Review and provide feedback on design drawings submitted by consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications
• Support the delivery of small-scale in-house design tasks, including preparation of documentation for implementation
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design intent, and carry out fit-out inspections
• Coordinate and inspect FF&E and OSE items across assigned projects
• Liaise with consultants and suppliers to evaluate proposals and make recommendations aligned with project objectives
• Prepare and track project updates, including variations, delays, and progress reports
• Support smooth project handover and close-out processes
• Provide material and FF&E alternatives based on market knowledge and project requirements
• Perform additional tasks as required by the line manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Interior Design Coordinator to support the successful delivery of interior design (ID) projects across a range of sectors and project scales. This role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of interior design from concept through to completion, ensuring design intent is maintained while aligning with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will act as the key link between internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution across all project deliverables.
