Job Description

We are looking for an Engineering Interface Engineer (Saudi National) for a Global Construction Consulting Firm based in Riyadh.

Location – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Salary – 25,000 – 28,000 SAR/month

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum 10+ years of post-graduate experience
• At least 5 years of design experience within water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Strong experience in engineering interface management and stakeholder coordination
• Proven ability to manage design consultants and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in tender documentation preparation and technical reviews
• Strong understanding of design processes, compliance standards, and project delivery frameworks
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex, large-scale project environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of design consultants to ensure design accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project scope
• Manage and coordinate Senior Discipline Engineers within the Project Management Team on all design-related matters
• Ensure timely and accurate flow of engineering and design information between all project stakeholders
• Lead and support interface management processes, including identifying, tracking, and resolving interface issues
• Conduct and support design reviews, audits, and assurance processes
• Review and recommend design strategies, improvements, and alternative materials/systems to optimize cost, efficiency, and long-term maintenance
• Evaluate and endorse variation orders and concession requests for client approval
• Attend and contribute to design, client, and stakeholder meetings
• Support tender processes, including pre-qualification of consultants and contractors
• Monitor and ensure timely submission of design documentation to relevant authorities to secure required permits
• Coordinate with regional or head office teams to obtain technical support as required
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Interface Engineer to play a critical role in managing design coordination and interface activities across complex infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless communication and alignment between design consultants, project teams, and key stakeholders. You will oversee the flow of engineering information, ensure design compliance and completeness, and proactively resolve interface challenges to support efficient project delivery.
