Job Description

We are looking for an OSI PI Engineer (Saudi National) for an Automation Machinery Manufacturing company based in Riyadh.

Location – Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Salary – 15,000 SAR/month

Qualifications & Experience:

• Saudi National (in line with nationalization initiatives).
• 3–5+ years of experience with OSIsoft PI Systems (development, integration, deployment).
• Proven experience with PI Asset Framework (AF) modeling.
• OSIsoft PI Certification required (accreditation preferred).
• Strong experience in PI System administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PI Integrator technologies (preferred).
• Knowledge of PI System security implementation and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with PI modules including PI AF, PI Vision, Event Frames, Notifications, PI SDK, and AF SDK.
• Understanding of industrial environments (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, Manufacturing).
• Familiarity with IT/OT integration and industrial processes.
• Knowledge of networking, protocols, and infrastructure architectures.
• Experience with virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize the OSI PI System environment
• Configure and manage PI Asset Framework (AF), Event Frames, Notifications, and system hierarchies
• Integrate PI System with business applications and enterprise systems
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades/patches
• Ensure system security, compliance, and best practice deployment standards
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPI visualizations using PI tools
• Design and deploy analytics, data models, and reporting solutions
• Build and maintain plant models within the PI AF structure
• Document system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
• Support PI Data Historian and related technologies (PI Vision, PI Web Services, PI SDK, AF SDK, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT and OT environments
• Support client engagements, including site visits, system rollouts, and stakeholder communication 

About the role:

We are seeking for an experienced OSI PI Engineer (Saudi National) to support and deliver Industrial Digitalization initiatives across sectors including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing. This role will play a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making by designing, implementing, and optimizing Industrial Data Management solutions using the OSI PI System. You will work on high-impact projects that enhance operational visibility, improve efficiency, and unlock the full value of industrial data.
