Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Section Head (Saudi National) for a Global Construction Consulting Firm based in Riyadh.
Location – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Salary – 46,000 SAR/month
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Management from an accredited university.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including experience as Quality Manager on large-scale projects.
- Certified Lead Auditor (mandatory).
- Extensive knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience applying quality principles across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, operations, or decommissioning environments.
- Strong knowledge of corrective and preventive action processes.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements impacting quality programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading project audit activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven leadership capability in directing and mentoring quality personnel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System Implementation
- Monitor and ensure effective implementation of the Project Management System in compliance with the company’s policies, international standards, and client requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) plans.
- Prepare project-specific Quality Plans aligned with project quality requirements.
- Recommend development or modification of corporate procedures where necessary to meet project demands.
- Oversee the establishment of QA programs by service providers and contractors.
Audit & Compliance Oversight
- Plan, conduct, and lead internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with QA systems and procedures.
- Monitor quality-related activities to ensure products and services meet client specifications and contractual requirements.
- Periodically conduct detailed compliance audits and site assessments.
- Interface with Project Directors, Area Managers, and Area Quality Managers to review audit findings and corrective actions.
Quality Monitoring & Performance Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data from multiple sources to identify trends and areas of concern.
- Prepare and issue quality reports summarizing findings, trends, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on quality performance and improvement initiatives.
- Validate quality processes through establishment and monitoring of product specifications and quality attributes.
Corrective & Preventive Actions
- Identify non-conforming conditions and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Support implementation of corrective action plans to address quality issues.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure sustainable improvement.
- Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance across all quality processes.
Continuous Improvement & Training
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance overall quality performance.
- Provide guidance, direction, and on-the-job training to project personnel.
- Train and motivate staff to uphold and continuously improve quality standards.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability across project teams.
Documentation & Governance
- Ensure proper control and maintenance of quality documentation, procedures, and records.
- Maintain alignment of all quality activities with environmental, safety, and occupational health policies.
- Ensure quality documentation is accurately maintained within corporate systems.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Section Head who is responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive quality assurance systems across large-scale projects. The role ensures full compliance with the company’s policies, international standards, and client requirements by developing, implementing, and monitoring structured Quality Management Systems (QMS). The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports project leadership in performance monitoring, and ensures all quality documentation and procedures are effectively controlled and aligned with project objectives.
