We are looking for a Finance Director for a Health & Wellness company based in Dubai.

 

Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary 25,000 – 35,000 AED/month

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
  • 18+ years of progressive finance experience in multi-entity, high-growth environments.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, cash flow management, procurement, and cost control.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, audit processes, tax compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience across multiple jurisdictions - UAE and KSA preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in finance systems, BI tools, and Excel. 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Governance

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Translate business objectives into robust financial plans and decision frameworks.
  • Lead the Group’s financial roadmap to support sustainable growth and international expansion.
  • Support scenario planning, capital allocation, and investment decisions.
  • Deliver structured financial insights and governance reporting to senior leadership.

Financial Planning, Modelling & Forecasting

  • Build and maintain integrated financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts with variance analysis and corrective actions.
  • Align financial forecasts with Operations, HR, Sales, and Marketing plans.

Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

  • Own accurate month-end close, reconciliations, and management reporting across all entities.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, KSA ZATCA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee payroll compliance, WPS, GOSI, and statutory obligations with HR.
  • Establish strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
  • Prepare the Group for audits, regulatory reviews, and due diligence.

Cash Flow, Treasury & Working Capital

  • Lead short- and long-term cash flow planning and liquidity management.
  • Manage banking relationships and facilities.
  • Drive disciplined receivables, collections, payables, and payment prioritisation.
  • Protect liquidity during high-growth phases.

Procurement, CapEx & Cost Management

  • Lead procurement strategy including vendor negotiations and contract structuring.
  • Define procurement approval matrices and purchasing controls.
  • Own CapEx planning, ROI assessment, and post-investment tracking.
  • Reduce vendor dependency risk and enforce contract governance.

Commercial Finance & Unit Economics

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Marketing on pricing and revenue strategy.
  • Own unit economics by branch, service line, course, and product.
  • Analyse margin drivers and challenge unprofitable growth initiatives.
  • Track profitability by product, service, and channel.
  • Partner with HR on headcount planning, commissions, and incentives.

Performance Measurement & KPIs

  • Define and monitor executive-level financial dashboards and KPIs.
  • Provide leadership with early risk indicators and corrective actions.
  • Track financial health, cost efficiency, and ROI across the Group.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

  • Identify and mitigate financial, operational, compliance, and fraud risks.
  • Enforce segregation of duties and delegation of authority.
  • Lead periodic internal control reviews and remediation.

Systems, SOPs & Process Optimisation

  • Design and implement finance SOPs, workflows, and compliance frameworks.
  • Own the finance systems roadmap and integrations (CRM, POS, HR, BI tools).
  • Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system scalability.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Build financial literacy across departments.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and performance ownership.

About the role:

We are seeking a Finance Director who will lead and operationalise the full finance function across the company, with end-to-end ownership of financial strategy, accounting, cash flow, procurement, controls, compliance, and performance management as the Group scales regionally and internationally. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role that combines strategic partnership with the CEO and leadership team with deep involvement in day-to-day finance operations, systemisation, and risk management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in improving profitability, strengthening cash discipline, enforcing controls, reducing inefficiencies, and preparing the Group for audits, due diligence, and future investment or sale readiness.
