Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer for a renovation company based in Amman, Jordan.

Location – Amman, Jordan

Salary – 800 – 1,000 JOD/month

Key Requirements:

• 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong frontend focus.
• Solid hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience working with relational databases, RESTful APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, performance, and best practices.
• Comfortable contributing across the stack when needed, including backend work.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills (written and verbal).
• A self-starter mindset - able to learn quickly and work independently without heavy supervision.
• Comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha), and version control tools (GitHub).
• Experience using product and delivery tools such as JIRA or Linear.
• Based in Amman, with the ability to work from the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve customer-facing web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop and iterate on internal tools used by design, operations, and commercial teams.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, product team, Saudi-based client stakeholders, and Amman engineering team.
• Contribute to backend development in Ruby on Rails when required, including API integrations and feature enhancements.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Work with AWS infrastructure, supporting deployment, scalability, and performance optimisation (training provided where needed).
• Ship high-quality features quickly that directly impact revenue, product adoption, and customer experience.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Adapt to evolving requirements and take ownership in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a frontend-focused Engineer who moves fast and learns quickly. You’ll primarily work on our Next.js applications, building customer-facing experiences and internal tools, with occasional exposure to Ruby on Rails backend work. We’re looking for someone driven to grow, take ownership, and ship meaningful work. In return, you’ll have autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to build a product from the ground up while working closely with a strong product team and the CTO.
