We are looking for a Facilities Manager – Director for a hospitality company based in the UAE.
Location – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary – 40,000 - 50,000 AED/month
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors in Facilities Management, Engineering, or any other degree.
- Advanced degree or certification in Facilities Management or a relevant field (e.g., Certified Facility Manager - CFM).
- 8 Years' experience in similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage team of engineers and maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, provide guidance, and ensure the maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently and on time.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that maintenance activities align with the best standards and as per departmental requirements,
- Coordinating with project participants and collaborating with the management to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's success.
- Conducting feasibility assessments on new/upcoming projects for best implementation of project plans.
- Address the technical challenges identified by engineers that arise during MEP installations with effective solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project continuity.
- Oversee and coordinate routine and non-routine larger facility maintenance upgrades and changes.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plans & schedules for all the infrastructure, properties, buildings, agriculture and animal farm facilities and equipment such as green/net houses, animal sheds, cold rooms, storage facilities, machineries, wells, pumps, motors, fences, roads, fire alarm and drainage systems by conducting regular inspections and arranging for necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Review and maintain the concepts, schematic and detail designs related to Architectural, Structural & Civil, Mechanical and Electrical, and Interior Design of properties,
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget that strives to achieve cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for specialized maintenance and repair tasks that may be beyond the scope of the in-house team's capabilities.
- Frequently communicating with senior management to provide them with updates on maintenance activities, budgets, status updates and recommended improvements.
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for situations such as equipment breakdowns, weather-related damage, or any other unexpected incidents.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for team members and contractors.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and ensure timely submission to stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and proposed solutions to maintain effective communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for Security Supervisor & Team of Securities Implementing and overseeing comprehensive security measures to safeguard assets and personnel.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
About the Role:
The facilities manager oversees all aspects of Maintenance, MEP/Construction works and guarantees the safety and functionality of all properties at best standards, along with the facilities team.
