Location – Dubai, UAE

Salary – 40,000 - 45,000 AED/month

Requirements:

• 7-10 years experience in Head of Legal in Oil & Gas
• Preferably experience within the shipping industry

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all legal matters pertaining to oil and gas operations, with a focus on the shipping industry and a specialization in Russian business dealings.
• Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of agreements, including joint venture agreements, supply contracts, and transportation agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance issues.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
• Manage external legal counsel and coordinate legal support for international projects and transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence for potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
• Represent the company in negotiations and disputes with Russian entities, including government agencies and commercial partners.
• Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments in the oil and gas and shipping industries, particularly those relevant to Russian markets.
• Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure alignment and support for business objectives.
