Head of Marketing is required in Dubai on a permanent basis for a fashion e-commerce platform.

 

Location Dubai

Salary 40,000-45,000AED/month + family benefits

 

About the role:

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for setting up the brand’s, content & creative strategies to build brand sustainability and help to achieve goals, objectives and budgets for the short and long term. You will be working closely with a cross-functional team and developing a brand and audience segmented content strategy with the objective of increasing brand strength (salience, awareness, consideration and brand buzz) across all the GCC region.

 

Skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Marketing Lead and at least 3 year’s experience in E-commerce or similar industry
  • BSc/BA in digital marketing and communications, business administration, or relevant field
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling e-commerce venture
  • Excellent leadership and demonstrated track record of managing teams of at least 7+ direct reports
  • Excellent organization, analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Strong communicator, spoken and written, in English and Arabic (preferred) and able to present ideas and findings at local and global level
  • In-depth understanding of key drivers behind eCommerce venture growth
  • Hands-on Digital Marketing and Product experience, including an understanding of Social, Search, CRM and referral, Mobile Apps, Tracking and Analytics, Online Merchandising, User Experience and Experimentation
  • Fluency with: financial reporting, forecasting and analytics, KPIs -set up and evaluation
  • Deep understanding of GCC fashion industry, trends and consumer behaviours
  • Comfortable with: fast pace, learning by doing, 100% accountability for results, communicating and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of market, brand positioning and competition to carry out effective and impactful marketing campaigns
  • Further develop the brand & tone of voice
  • Manage marketing, branding and content budget throughout the Middle East to organize ATL and BTL activities
  • Analyses and optimizes best-practice strategies & reporting on marketing level to drive the overall business forward for YOY growth
  • Create templates to communicate Programme achievements, dashboards, Post Campaign Analysis and quarterly reports
  • Prepare annual marketing budget and breakdown with rationale, tying back to Programme’s objectives Coordinates & develops relevant content to create Programme pitches to external brands & partners
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies and promotional programs to drive interest and ROI
  • Lead all creative design and copywriting also ensuring consistency in design across all the online and offline marketing channels while adhering with brand guidelines
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for execution
  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with Seller Success team, leadership, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services
  • Brands by understanding their key moments including Product drops, New launches/arrivals, pre-ordering opportunities, private sales access etc and puts into action that knowledge to maximize engagement and trigger conversions at each activity
  • Develops effective content that would lead to increased conversion
  • Scope & launch digital commerce channels & devices and implements marketing communications plan in order to increase engagement e.g. Instagram, ATL, BTL
  • Responsible for planning the announcement of newly onboarded brand
